If the memory contains data,

'DATA MEMORY:'

appears. The memory is displayed by pressing the key. A flashing
"M" (for "MEMORY") indicates that the data are from the previous
test and not from the current test.

Following the next short keystroke, the data memory is deleted; the
data memory is only retained if the device is turned off (hold key
pressed or by AUTO POWER OFF).
If the Fl- Tester is not connected to a socket outlet,
'CIRCUIT OPEN'

appear alternately on the display.
Before performing the test, we recommend to check
all three connections of the socket for phase with a
phase tester since this test device does not feature
an earth probe. The phase must only occur at the
two jacks and never at the spring contacts of the
socket outlet.
Make sure that the main fuse (Fl) and the circuit fuse (circuit breaker
or screwed-type fuse) in the fuse box are turned on and in good
condition. Now plug the earthing contact plug of the Fl- Tester into
the earthing contact socket to be tested. Make sure that the plug is
firmly connected to the socket outlet to guarantee good contact and
to avoid error displays.

Dieser wird bei Tastendruck angezeigt. Zur Erkennung, daß es sich
um Daten aus dem letzten Test handelt und nicht um aktuelle, blinkt
ein "M" als Kennzeichen für "MEMORY"

Beim nächsten kurzen Tastendruck wird der Datenspeicher
gelöscht; der Datenspeicher bleibt nur erhalten, wenn das Gerät
ausgeschaltet wird (mit einem langen Tastendruck oder durch
AUTO POWER OFF).
Wenn der FI- Tester mit keiner Steckdose verbunden ist erscheint
im Wechsel
'STROMKREIS OFFEN'
' !! GEFAHR !! '
Es wird empfohlen, vorab mit einem Phasenprüfer
an allen drei Anschlüssen der Steckdose zu testen,
ob die Phase da ist, da dieses Gerät keine Erdsonde
besitzt. Die Phase darf dabei nur an einer der beiden
Buchsen anliegen, niemals an den Federkontakten
der Steckdose.
Vergewissern Sie sich, daß die Hauptsicherung (FI) und die Strom-
kreissicherung (Leitungsschutzschalter oder Schraubsicherung) im
Sicherungsschrank eingeschaltet bzw. in Ordnung ist. Stecken Sie
nun den Schukostecker des FI- Testers in die zu testende Schutz-
kontaktsteckdose. Achten Sie auf einen festen Sitz des Schutzkon-
taktsteckers um einen sicheren Kontakt zu gewährleisten und Fehl-
anzeigen zu vermeiden.
