ons. Before opening coverings or removing parts, all connected
devices must be disconnected from the FI-Tester.
Replacing the fuse
Before replacing the fuse, the FI- Tester must be unplugged. Use
only fuses of the same type and power rating for replacement. The
use of repaired fuses or bypassing the fuse holder is not permissible.
Caution:
Fuses are to be replaced by qualified personnel only that is familiar
with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations.
Operating Principle and Commissioning
For all fault-current protective devices it is recommended to trip
them once each month by pressing the push-button at the device
itself. This test, however, only verifies if the Fl-device is connected
correctly and if it trips but not if all sockets connected to the Fl-
device are properly wired and neither is the leakage current tested,
i.e. the protective conductor and the quality of its earthing! This is
the purpose of this Fl- Tester.
Operating principle
This Fl- Tester is an easy-to-use quick-tester that is universally
applicable for do-it-yourself use as well as for educational and pro-
fessional purposes (rated voltage 195.5 to 253 VACrms).
This test device enables you to check if a mains socket with eart-
hing contact leads voltage and if the protective conductor, neutral
conductor and phase conductor are properly connected. For this
