A2 Testing the battery
. To test the battery, proceed as follows:
Connect the Pressure Measuring Adapter correctly-polarised to a
Voltmeter (see B). Switch the Pressure Measuring Adapter to "OFF"
(if not already in this condition) and switch on the connected volt-

Al).
B Connection to a Voltmeter
Most multimeters have the voltage measurement inputs V/Ohm ad-
na plug connectors of the Pressure Measuring Adapter are mat-
multimeter (Voltmeter) so that the positive connector "+" mates
with the V/Ohm socket and the negative connector "-" mates with
the COM socket of the multimeter. During this, pay attention to the

C Connection to a pressure System
The System into which the measuring transducer is
to be screwed must without fail have already been
rendered pressure-free.
Prerequisite for connection of the measuring transducer is a free
ning of the measuring transducer. Screw the measuring transducer
in to its stop and tighten it carefully with a size 22 open-ended
Spanner.
D Putting into Operation
The Pressure Measuring Adapter is switched on via the "OFF" -
surement (down to 76 cmHg or 760 mmHg).
E Setting "ZERO"
When the Pressure Measuring Adapter is switched on, normally
even at zero pressure a (+ or -) voltage tan be read on the connec-
ted voltmeter. The indication tan effectively be set to "0" with the
"ZERO" trimmer on the Pressure Measuring Adapter.
