Dear Customer,
With the Pressure Measuring Adapter PS-403 you have acquired a
useful Voltmeter accessory to the latest technological Standard.
The Pressure Measuring Adapter is EMC-tested and thereby
meets the requirements of applicable national and European
guidelines. Conformance to these has been proven; the rele-
vant documents are lodged with the manufacturer.
To maintain this condition and to guarantee safe Operation, the user
must observe these operating instructions without fail!

Intended use of the Pressure Measuring
Adapter PS-403:
The measurement of pressure of non-combustible gases (air or 316
steel-compatible industrial gases) or non-combustible liquids (hy-
draulic Oil) up to 500 psi or 3447 kPa maximum.
The measurement of negative pressure (vacuum) down to 29.99 in-

HG (=inches of mercury) maximum or 76 cmHG (centimetres of
mercury) maximum.
Output of the pressure or negative pressure value in the form of an
electrical voltage to a connected Voltmeter with at least 1 MOhm
input resistance (IO MOhm is ideal, otherwise an additional measu-
rement error of 0.5% results)
Measurements must not be performed under unfavourable ambient
conditions. Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
fields, etc.
Any use other than as described above tan lead to darnage to the
unit; in addition this is accompanied by dangers such as short cir-
fied or converted! The safety instructions are to be followed without
fail !
