Before first use

♦ Before you use the product for the first time, please
clean all individual components thoroughly and
carefully dry them (see section "Cleaning") .
♦ Pull the insulation strip from the battery compart-
ment 8 of the timer .
♦ If you are unable to pull the insulating strip out of
the battery compartment 8,
–
Open the battery compartment 8 by turning
the cover anticlockwise towards the
bol using a coin or similar object .

Take off the lid, take out the battery and
remove the insulating strip from the battery
compartment 8 .

Insert the battery into the battery compart-
ment 8 according to the polarity marked on
the battery compartment cover .

Replace the cover to the battery compart-
ment 8 in an offset position . Take note of
the slots .
Turn the cover clockwise towards the
symbol .
♦ There will be a beep and the timer display 5 will
read 00:00 .
NOTE
► If the display 5 does not display anything
after removing the insulation strip, remove the
battery compartment cover and press the timer
reset button 9 . Use a narrow, pointed object,
such as a paper clip .
Now close the lid .
