Microwave mode

QuickStart
This function allows you to start cooking im-
mediately, without having to make any further
adjustments. With QuickStart, cooking takes
place at full microwave power.
Requirement: Appliance is in stand-by mode.

• Press the Adjusting dial +30s (10) once.
The cooking process starts immediately
at full microwave power for 30 seconds.
• Each additional press of the Adjusting dial
extends the cooking time by 30 seconds,
to a maximum of 95 minutes.

Fast cooking or warming, e.g. for
soups, casseroles, canned food, hot
beverages, vegetables, fish etc.
Longer cooking times for compact
dishes such as roasts, meatloaf or
plate dishes. Including for delicate
dishes such as cheese sauces or
pound cake. When using this set-
ting, sauces do not boil over and
dishes cook evenly, without the
edges turning hard or the dish over-
flowing.
For preparing more dense foods that
require a long cooking time on the
stove, e.g. beef dishes.
Defrosting from frozen.
Cook rice, pasta and dumplings, or
heat baked egg custard.
Gentle defrosting, e.g. of gateau or
puff pastry.
