Gearbox and pump group
Maintaining the gearbox unit:
1. Remove the fluid pump. Read the Fluid pump removal section for instructions.
2. Remove the frame from the gearbox by loosening the four fastening screws.
3. Remove the cover assembly (14) from the gearbox by removing the screws (1) and the wing screws (2) from the
front side of the cover and the rear side of the gearbox.
4. Lay the unit on its rear and remove the gearbox.
5. Check the bearings (14, 17), the gear wheel (16), the cranks (15) and the plain bearing (9) in the cover assembly (13)
for wear/damage. Replace worn/damaged parts.
6. If you need to replace the gearbox lubricant, replace it with new gearbox lubricant.
7. Clean the contact surfaces on the cover group and gearbox thoroughly.
8. Re-assemble in reverse order.
