Finish all maintenance work on the
cleaning robot with the following steps:
 Installing the dirt receptacle cover:

Put the cover onto the dirt receptacle.

Close both locking levers.
In addition, press on the front side of
the cover to ensure the dirt receptacle
is closed safely.
Exchanging the batteries

 Release the two screws on the two bat-
teries, and remove the old batteries.
 Insert the new batteries, and fasten
them with the screws.
Spare battery pack (1 ea.):
Order number: 4.810-012.0

Disposing of old device and
battery pack
The cleaning robot includes two built-in bat-
tery packs; please remove these before
disposing of the old appliance.
 Please arrange for the proper disposal
of the old appliance.
Remove battery pack and dispose
 Remove both battery packs of the
cleaning robot; see Chapter "Replace
batteries".
 Dispose of the batteries properly (at a
collection site or the dealer).
Danger!
Do not open the battery, as there is a risk
of an electrical short; also, irritating or
caustic vapors can escape.
Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light, heat or fire, there is a risk of explo-
sion.
