Before working with the log splitter, vent the hydraulic
system.
• Release the venting cap A by a few revolutions so the
air can escape from the oil tank.
• Leave the cap open during the operation.
• Before you move the log splitter, close the cap again
in order not to lose any oil.
If the hydraulic system is not vented, the enclosed air will
damage the gaskets and with it the complete log splitter.

Press the green button for switching on.
Press the red button for switching off.
Note: Check the function of the ON/OFF unit before every
use by switching on and off once.
Restarting safety in case of current interruption (no-volt re-
lease).
In case of current failure, inadvertent pulling of the plug,
or a defective fuse, the machine is switched off automati­
cally.
For switching on again, press anew the green button of
the switch unit.
End of work
• Move the splitting knife to the lower position.
• Release one operating arm.
• Switch the machine off and pull the power plug.
• Close the venting cap.
• Observe the general maintenance instructions.
m Electrical connection
Check electrical connection cables regularly for damage.
Ensure that the connecting cable is not attached to the
mains when you are checking it.
Electrical connecting cables must correspond to the rel­
evant VDE and DIN regulations. Only use connecting ca­
bles with the code H 07 RN.
The type designation must be printed on the connecting
cable by regulation.
Faulty electrical connecting cables
Insulation damage often occurs at electrical connecting
cables.
Causes include:
• Pinch points when connecting cables are run through
window or door gaps.
• Kinks resulting from incorrect attachment or laying of
the connection cable.
• Cuts resulting from running over the connecting cable.
• Insulation damage resulting from forcefully pulling out

Ontlucht de hydraulische installatie voordat u de splijter
in gebruik neemt.
• Draai de ontluchtingsdop A enkele keren rond, opdat
lucht uit de olietank kan ontsnappen.
• Laat de dop open tijdens het gebruik.
• Sluit de dop weer voordat u de splijter gaat gebruiken,
omdat er anders olie kan gaan lekken.
Wanneer de hydraulische installatie niet wordt ontlucht,
beschadigt de ingesloten lucht de afdichtingen en hier­
door tevens de splijter!

Druk op de groene knop voor aanschakelen.
Druk op de rode knop voor uitschakelen.
Aanwijzing: controleer voor elk gebruik het functioneren
van de aan­/uitschakeleenheid door eenmalig aan­ en
uitschakelen.
Beveiliging bij opnieuw starten bij stroomonderbreking
(offsetspannings-schakelaar)
Bij stroomuitval, onbedoeld trekken van de stekker of de­
fecte beveiliging, schakelt het apparaat automatisch uit.
Druk om het opnieuw aan te schakelen op de groene knop
aan de schakeleenheid.
Beëindiging van werkzaamheden
• Verplaats de splijtmeter naar de onderste stand.
• Laat een bedieningsarm los.
• Zet het apparaat uit en trek de netstekker uit het stop­
contact.
• Sluit de ontluchtingsplug.
• Houd rekening met de algemene onderhoudsaanwijzin­
gen.
m Elektrischer aansluiting
Controleer elektrische aansluitleidingen regelmatig op
schade. Let erop dat de aansluitleiding tijdens de controle
niet op het stroomnet aangesloten is.
Elektrische aansluitleidingen moeten voldoen aan de des­
betreffende VDE­ en DIN­bepalingen. Gebruik alleen aan­
sluitleidingen met aanduiding H 07 RN.
Op de aansluitleiding moet een opdruk van de typeaan­
duiding staan.
Beschadigde elektrische aansluitleidingen
Aan elektrische aansluitleidingen ontstaat vaak isolatie­
schade.
Oorzaken zijn:
• Drukplaatsen als aansluitleidingen door ramen of
deurkieren worden geleid.
• Barsten door onjuiste bevestiging of leiding van de
aansluitleidingen.
• Snijdplekken doordat er over de aansluitleidingen
gereden is.
• Isolatieschade doordat het uit het stopcontact is
