AVVISO: non utilizzare come messa a terra condotte
in cui passano sostanze infiammabili.
Avviare il motore (Fig. 5)
AVVERTENZA: non collegare l'apparecchio elettrico
prima di avviare il motore.
1 Ruotare il rubinetto del carburante (B) su ON.
In stato freddo:
Portare la leva dello starter (C) in posizione CLOSED.
In stato caldo:
Portare la leva di comando dello starter su OPEN
2. Portare l'interruttore del motore su ON.
3. Tirare lentamente lo starter d'inversione fino a
quando si avverte una resistenza. Quindi tirare
con forza.
4. Riportare la leva dello starter in posizione OPEN
mentre il motore si scalda.
AVVISO: fare attenzione a non ferirsi le dita. Se il
motore non si avvia ed un pistone non è stato solle-
vato completamente, la maniglia di avviamento può
colpire improvvisamente il motore. Evitare che la
maniglia di avviamento colpisca il motore. Accom-
pagnarla indietro lentamente con la mano in modo
che la copertura non venga danneggiata.
Spegnere il motore
1 Spegnere il gruppo elettrogeno.
2 Portare l'interruttore del motore su off.

Portare il rubinetto del carburante su off.
In caso di emergenza, portare l'interruttore del mo-
tore su off.
AVVISO
Dispositivi elettrici collegabili
Questo gruppo elettrogeno può alimentare lampadine ad
incandescenza, dispositivi di riscaldamento, macchine
foratrici, pompe dell'acqua ecc. Non superare il limite di
carico indicato per il gruppo elettrogeno.
Il gruppo elettrogeno non può essere utilizzato per
alimentare apparecchi che presentano un elevato
assorbimento di corrente.
Il gruppo elettrogeno non può essere utilizzato per ap-
parecchiature di precisione, come ad esempio compu-
ter. Tali apparecchi di precisione, in alcune circostanze,
possono essere danneggiati dalla distorsione dovuta
all'onda larga durante l'erogazione di potenza del grup-
po elettrogeno.
Non collegare il gruppo elettrogeno all'impianto elettrico
di un edificio.
AVVISO: il collegamento all'impianto elettrico di un
edificio può avere come conseguenza il feedback
della corrente elettrica nelle linee di alimentazione
di rete.
Tale feedback implica il rischio di scossa elettrica
mortale per gli addetti ai lavori dell'azienda di forni-
tura di corrente o per altre persone che entrano in
contatto con le linee durante un blackout.
WARNING: Do not use any pipes that carry inflam-
mable substances as an earth source.
Start the engine (fig. 5)
NOTE: Do not connect the electrical device before
starting the engine.
1 Turn the fuel valve (B) to 1.
When the engine is cold:
Turn the choke lever (C) to the CLOSED position.
When the engine is warm:
Turn the choke lever to OPEN
2 Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
3 Pull the recoil starter slowly until resistance is notice-
able. Then pull hard.

Return the choke lever to the OPEN position while
the engine warms up.
WARNING: Ensure that you do not injure your fin-
gers. If the motor does not start and a piston was
not raised completely, the starter grip may sud-
denly spring back to the engine. Avoid the starter
grip springing back against the engine. Feed it back
slowly by hand to ensure that the cover is not dam-
aged.
Shut the engine off

In an emergency, set the engine switch to off
WARNING
Electrical devices that can be connected
This power unit can power light bulbs, heaters, drills,
water pumps, etc. Do not exceed the load limit specified
for the power unit.
The power unit may not be used to power devices
that have a high power requirement.
The power unit cannot be used for precision devices
such as computers. These precision devices may be
damaged by distortions caused by the broad wave when
the power unit's power is output.
Do not connect the power unit to the electrical installa-
tion of a building.
WARNING: Connection to the electrical installation
of a building may result in the electric current being
returned to the mains supply wires.
This return causes a risk of a fatal electric shock
for employees of the electricity supplier or other
persons who touch the wires during a power failure.
Connection to the electrical installation of a building
can also cause the electric current of the electricity
supplier to return to the power unit. When the mains
supply is restored, the power unit may explode, burn
or cause a fire to break out in the electrical installa-
tion of the building.
