HE THERMOSTAT CONTROLS THE COMPRESSOR ONLY
You must unplug the appliance to disconnect it from the mains.
1. Set the thermostat to the highest position until it has reached the desired
freezing temperature.
2. Then set the thermostat to the medium/NORMAL position. It is easier to
adjust the exact temperature at a later point of time. Check the current freezing
temperature with a commercially available freezer Thermometer.
The 4****-appliance provides a freezing temperature of -18
store food for several months. The temperature is controlled by the thermostat
automatically. The temperature is influenced by the ambient temperature, the place
of installation, the frequency of door-releases and the amount of frozen food.
The freezing temperature should not be warmer than -18
1. We recommend to set the control to MAX 24 h before freezing food. Keep this
setting for a few hours even the freezing procedure has finished. Thereafter set
the control to NORMAL to save energy.
2. Store fresh food in the upper drawers. As a result you must rearrange your
frozen food sometimes.
3. Freeze fresh food completely as fast as possible. So you keep the structure of
your food and avoid formation of ice-crystals.
4. Slow freezing leads to formation of ice-crystals and decreases the quality of your
food. So do not freeze too much food at the same time.
5. Place frozen food in the lower drawers so you have enough free space in the
upper ones to freeze fresh food.
6. Frozen food should touch the ground of the drawer.
7. For a proper circulation of the air, the single items in the drawers should not
touch each other.
8. Store commercially available frozen food relevant to the data of their
manufacturers. After purchase store such products as fast as possible in the
appliance. Do not freeze defrosted frozen food. Observe the maximum
permissible storing time.
1. The appliance can only reach the relevant temperatures when:
a. the a ambient temperature meets the climatic class.
b. the doors close properly.
