• Do not open the battery casing; protect the battery pack from mechani-
cal damage. If the battery casing is damaged:
- Do not use or charge the battery any more, there is a risk of fire.
- Avoid contact with potentially exposed electrolyte or powder from

• Only charge the battery at environmental temperatures between 0°C

her as hand luggage nor in the hold). The battery supplied with this
product exceeds this threshold and may therefore not be transported
in passenger planes.
7.4.3 Charging the batteries from the on-board batteries
If your boat has an inverter that supplies a voltage between 100-240 V, you can simply
connect the charger to the inverter and charge your battery from your on-board battery
bank.
Also you can charge the Travel battery from a 12 V battery bank (boat/car) with a direct
connection cable (not included in delivery). In this case, use a cable with a cross sectional
area of at least 0.5 mm

If the battery is not charged with the power supply provided (or other
Torqeedo products) please check the polarity of the connection. If the
polarity is not respected the device may be damaged and this is not
