13. Post-mounting check
Check that status lamp lights green and the count values are displayed properly over the
entire measuring length.
When the status lamp is turned off:
• Check the power voltage of the LH70/LH71.
• Check that the cable is not disconnected, only cables designated by Sony
Manufacturing Systems are being used, and no cable extensions exceed the stipulated
limit.
When the status lamp is lit red:
• Return to step 9, "Securing the shaft scale," and check mounting again.
If the status lamp does not light green after checking the points above or the scale does
not count normally, contact the Customer service section.
