Other notes on operation
Now you can use the "WebUI" user interface to control your
device, configure it, connect it directly to other devices, or
use it in central control unit programs. Please refer to the
Homematic WebUI Manual for more details (you can find this
in the "Downloads" area of the website www.homematic.com).

7.1
Sensitivity
•
If it is operated without the Homematic Central Control
Unit, every sensor pulse causes the motion detector to be
triggered.
•
If the Homematic Central Control Unit is used, the re-
sponse according to the intensity of motion can be set via
the user interface "WebUI".
•
Examples of use:
–
Alarm: Insensitive, e.g. 3 pulses/period
–
Light: Sensitive, e.g. 1-2 pulses/period
7.2
Operation with a dimmer as a directly
taught-in actuator
Direct teaching-in to a Homematic dimming actuator trans-
fers the following standard profile, which is designed to make
lighting control more user-friendly, to that dimmer:

"Switch on for 5 minutes, plus a 20 second switch-off
delay with a gently flickering light acting as an advance
switch-off warning".
If someone is present in the room for a long time, this
serves as a timely reminder to activate the motion detec-
