This Homematic Wireless Motion Detector detects movements
by people and warm-blooded animals and is suitable for in-
door applications. Connected Homematic actuators are trig-
gered after movements detected.
The motion detector can be used for light control or security
applications, for example.
The motion detector offers various applications
Due to the battery operation, you can flexibly position the
device at any place on the wall or ceiling. The 90 ° detection
angle of the main lens provides a detection range of 12 m.
Furthermore, the device can be continuously rotated 45° to the
left and right in the wall/ceiling bracket and can therefore be
perfectly adjusted to every room. The creep zone protection
with an additional 360-degree lens ensures, that the device is
activated even if movements are carried out directly below the
motion detector. Brief changes in the level of brightness are
filtered out. Thus, unintended response of the motion detector
can be avoided. The brightness level for triggering and the lev-
el of sensitivity can be flexibly adjusted. In addition, Homemat-
ic devices can be connected directly, even without the need of
a Homematic Central Control Unit.
The motion detector is reliable and secure
As soon as the motion detector is removed from its bracket, it
will immediately be detected by the tamper contact.
If someone is present in a room for a long time, a dimmer-con-
trolled light will flicker briefly; this acts as an advance switch-
off warning and prompts the user to activate the sensor again.
