To provide an even greater level of security, the motion detec-
tor features "creep zone protection" (C), which ensures that
an intruder cannot circumvent the detection range of the main
lens (D) by literally staying under the radar. An additional lens
with a detection range that points straight down is integrat-
ed in the detector for this purpose. This mini dome lens has
17 segments that cover an area of approximately 3.75 m x
3.75 m at a height of 2 m.
Select an appropriate mounting location at a typical
height of 2 m (see sec. "5.1 General notes on installa-
tion" on page 38).
