Operation of stove and heating mode

For operation of the stove there are different buttons that are complemented by displays. In
general, you would only need the I/O button and the "+" and "-" button for stove
operation.
 The I/O button switches the stove "on" and "off".
 The + / - buttons select the desired heat output of your stove.
Different controllers (accessories) could be integrated for the automatic mode of operation.
Detailed information is given in the following.
Note: The display jumps to the menu frame by pressing the "Menu" button. In order to
leave this frame, the button "Menu" has to be pressed again since operation of the stove
is not possible in the menu frame, with the exception of the I/O button. If no button is
pressed for longer than 60 seconds, you automatically return to the operation frame.

Pre-selection of heat output

The preferred output of the stove can be preset at any time using the + / - buttons. Even after
the stove is switched off, the preset value remains saved until a new value is manually set. After
the pre-heating program, the stove automatically reaches the preset output in the heating
program, as long as no internal or external controller demands another output. The output can
be set in 10 levels, where level 10 corresponds to maximum and level 1 to minimum output.

Start-up

Important note:
• Always keep the firebox door closed, even in the cold state.
• The door with ceramic glass panel becomes very hot during operation. Never touch the
panel with your bare hands.
• Even the linings could become hot during continuous operation. Use the delivered heat-
resistant gloves.
• Do not leave children unattended in the proximity of the stove!
• All steel and cast components of the stove have been coated and etched with refractory
paints at the factory. The paint continues to dry during the first pre-heating phase of the
pellet stove possibly leading to smoke and odour! Note these relevant tips:
o Ventilate the room well to get rid of the released vapours.
o The paint is still soft during the drying time. Avoid contact with painted surfaces as
much as possible to prevent damage to the painted surface.
o The drying of the paint terminates after some operation time with higher heat output.
Pellets may be filled in the hopper only after the stove is completely installed according to the
guidelines for its assembly. Fill the hopper with at least 5 kg of wood pellets.
No foreign objects should be present in the hopper, firebox or burn pot.
