Important Notes

Please read all instruction and information sheets before installing and starting your stove.
European and national standards and regulations have to be observed. This will prevent the
occurrence of malfunctions and operational failures.
Only pellets of 6 mm diameter that are manufactured from natural wood and tested accord-
ing to DIN-PLUS or Ö-Norm may be used in the WAMSLER Pellet Stove. Other fuels lead to
damage of the pellet stove and affect the environment.
The European Standards EN 13384, EN 15287 and EN 1856-2 apply to chimneys, flue gas
elements and connection components, respectively.
In addition, customers in Germany have to observe regulations for firing plants (FeuVO),
air circulation heaters, the rules of the electrical and electronic association (VDE) and the
first emission control act (1. BImSchV). In Germany, a firing system may be operated
only after the responsible master chimney sweep has issued the approval for operation.
Contact the responsible person promptly before planning to set up or remodel a heating system.
Proper use is explained in what follows.
Any other form of use is considered to be improper. We do not assume any liability for eventual
damage. Proper use also includes compliance with the instructions for installation and use.
Inadmissible operation and modifications of the device lead to annulment of warranty claims.
Especially, jobs such as installation, assembly, start-up, servicing and repairs may be
performed only by a technically approved company (construction of heaters or air circulation
heaters). Claims under warranty as well as warranty claims expire upon improper use.
Connection and assembly of electrical devices may be performed only by technically qualified
electricians. Electronic components such as printed circuit boards and control panels are
sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
As part of final acceptance the technically approved company is obliged to thoroughly and
competently instruct the device operator on operation, cleaning and maintenance of the stove.
These instructions should especially deal with the use of appropriate fuels, cleaning required to
be performed at regular intervals by the user, the necessary maintenance and safety
regulations. Claims under warranty as well as warranty claims especially expire upon
negligence of the instructions as well as the stipulated cleaning and maintenance.
Prior to starting you must ensure without fail that all accessories are removed from the
firebox and ash collector and the burn pot is free from residue.
The cleaning of the heating system must be regularly performed by the user.
For the servicing of the heating system we recommend the signing of a service contract
between the specialised dealer and the user. Regular servicing can also be performed by a
technically well-versed user who is thoroughly instructed by the specialised company.
Disconnect the main power plug prior to beginning any work! The main power plug or the
associated power point must be easily accessible at all times. Operation of the stove with a
damaged power cable is forbidden. If the power cable is damaged, have it replaced immediately
by a technically qualified electrician in order to prevent risks.
Do not disconnect the main power plug of the stove during operation! Switch off the
stove beforehand, wait until the follow-up time of the blower has elapsed (burn off).
