If the grease separator still contains a water trap from the installation or leak test, the
following „Filling" step can be omitted.
Fill the grease separator with freshwater up to the static water level (pipe invert, outlet

socket):
All types: via the maintenance opening (raising system)

Alternative for type -DM: via the ball valve of the filling device

Alternative for Type -DA: Initiate automatic fresh water feed,
■
Chap. 4.2.1 „Control". Fresh water flows for the „Filling duration",
„Set values for commissioning" into the grease separator or the water level rises
automatically up to approx. 2/3 tank capacity.
Close maintenance opening.

Open the penstock (if installed) in the inlet and outlet pipe.
