In the F F a a v v o o r r i i t t e e menu, you can access the SMS, Walkie Talkie.. Using the SMS option, you can send
and receive messages. The Walkie Talkie option allows you to use two handsets like Walkie Talkies.

SMS (Short Message Service)

Using the SMS menu, you can create, send, receive,
and save your messages.
To enable the SMS feature, you must subscribe to the
SMS service supplier and set the service center
number before using it.

Setting Service Center Number

The SMS center number is required when sending
messages. You must obtain this number from the
SMS service provider.
You can set up two service center numbers.
N N o o t t e e : : The phone numbers valid for you can be obtained
from your network operator.
To set the service center number:
1. Press the SMS key to display the SMS
menu items.
Or press the MENU soft key to display
the Main menu items, choose Favorite,
and select 1:SMS by pressing the
SELECT soft key.

Setting Terminal Number

Setting the terminal number is required when several
handsets are registered to one base. It allows the
message sender to specify the handset to receive the
message by entering the terminal number.
When you have several handsets, register the
handsets with the terminal number from 1 to 9.
N N o o t t e e s s : :
• You can enter the same terminal number in more
than one handset.
• If you do not enter the terminal number, the
handset is automatically set to the terminal
number 1.
1. Press the SMS key to display the SMS
menu items.
Or, press the MENU soft key to display
the Main menu items, choose Favorite,
and select 1:SMS by using the navigation
keys and pressing the SELECT soft key.
