12. ANTI SHOCK / BUFFER - Each bar
represents 2 seconds Anti-Shock Buffer. If all bars
are blinking, Instant Start is not available
13. CUE - Unit is at cue point.
14. PAUSE - Unit is in pause mode.
15. PLAY - Unit is in play mode.
16. CD - CD is inserted.
(1) After switching on, the display shortly indicates the total time and the total number of tracks.
(2) Afterwards, the track remain time is displayed numerically in minutes (M) and seconds (S). The seconds
are divided into 75 frames (F). Next to "TRACK/FOLDER", the title number selected is indicated.
(3) For MP3 titles, the file name of the title selected is indicated in the text line.
(4) Above the numerical time indication, 10 bars are displayed showing the remaining track-time visually.
The shorter the track remain time becomes, the less bars are displayed. 15 seconds before the track-
end, the bars in the display start flashing.
(5) By using the Time-button, the time-indication can be switched from track remain time (Remain) to total
remain time (Total Remain) to track playback time (Elapsed).
(6) After reading in a CD or after selecting a title, the CD player is precisely on the section where the music
starts and not at the time index 0:00:00. This spot is automatically memorized as a starting point. The
display shortly indicates „A.CUE".
(7) The indication "0.0%" means that the playback speed has not been changed. If you adjust the playback
speed via the Pitchfader (Pitch-LED is flashing), the respective percentage is indicated in the display.
(8) By pressing the SGL/CTN-button, the CD-player is put into Single-mode and the display shows
"SINGLE".
(9) After switching on, AUTO BPM mode is active. As soon as the beat counter has determined the number
of beats per minute, it is indicated on the display. During the counting procedure, „---.-„ is indicated. If the
beatcounter is not able to determine a useful value (e.g. in case of classical music or calm music titles),
switch to MANUAL mode by pressing the BPM-button. The press the TAP-button to the beat of the
music.
6.4 Play/Pause
(1) In the Pause-mode the time-indication in the display stands still and the Play/Pause-LED flashes. The
playback of the first track can be started by pressing the Play/Pause button. In the Playback-mode, the
time-indication in the display is running and the Play/Pause-LED shines permanently.
(2) To interrupt the playback, press the Play/Pause-button and the laser stops at the position where you
stopped.

6.5 Selecting a track via the Track-buttons

You can select the desired track via the Track-buttons.
(1) In order to play a track from the beginning, press the Track-buttons until the desired track number is
displayed. If you hold the respective Track-button, the CD-player will run through the track numbers until
you let the button loose.

Note: The CD-player calls the track up in the mode you pressed the Track-button. If the CD-player is in the
Play-mode at track 1 for example and you press the

6.6 Adjusting the playback-speed

MAIN TEMPO
With the change of speed, the pitch is also changed proportionally. Press the MAIN TEMPO-button and the
pitch will remain constant.
PITCHFADER
Via the Pitchfader, you can adjust the playback-speed by up to +/-100 %.
17. MP3 - Title in the MP3 format is recognized
