2.5 Switching off

• Move the slide on the handle to STOP and
press the ON/OFF switch on the unit, then
pull out the mains plug.
• Press the button to draw in the cable; the ca-
ble automatically winds in.
2.6 Transporting and storing the
vacuum cleaner
• The vacuum cleaner occupies a minimum
amount of space if it is stored in an upright
position. The suction pipe and floor nozzle, or
the carpet floor nozzle, can be suspended
from the holder on the casing. The suction
hose can be suspended from the holder.

3. Operation

You can begin cleaning when the vacuum cle-
aner is in standby mode and when you have
made sure that a paper filter bag has been in-
serted.
The operating controls used for cleaning are
located on the handle.

• The suction capacity can be regulated step-
lessly by moving the slide to the desired posi-
tion.

Suction capacity increases steplessly up to
MAX.

• Push the switch (B) forward
The brush switches on.
Note: If standby mode is actuated after
brush mode, the brush switches
off. Brush mode must be switched
on again if you wish to continue
using the brush.
