Features of the freezer
compartment
(not all models)
Ice cube tray
Fill the ice cube tray ¾ full of water and
place in the freezer compartment.
If the ice tray is stuck to the freezer
compartment, loosen with a blunt
implement only (spoon handle).
To loosen the ice cubes, twist the ice tray
slightly or hold briefly under flowing water.
Ice block
(if enclosed, quantity varies)
If a power failure or malfunction occurs,
the ice blocks can be used to slow down
the thawing process. The longest storage
time is obtained by placing the ice block
directly on the food in the top compart
ment.
The ice blocks can also be used to cool
food temporarily , e.g. in a cold bag.

stored for. Use by the best before" date.

Variofreezer
compartment
The temperature in the Variofreezer
compartment can be adjusted from 4 °C
to 18 °C.
At a setting of 4 °C the Variofreezer com
partment has the following advantages:
S Meat and fish can be cut easier.
S Frozen food can be processed when
frozen.
S For controlled thawing of easily
perishable food.
S For saving pre cooked food.
Note
At a warmer setting, food should be
stored only for a short term (2-3 weeks).
For long term storage of frozen food set
the Variofreezer compartment to 18 °C.
