Possible faults, and how to correct them
Rudder system turns in the wrong direction
Rudder cannot be set straight using the trim lever
Motor turns in the wrong direction, i.e. the boat only
runs backwards
Maiden run
Give the drive battery a full charge, and test the model's working systems in turn. Seal the hatch cover with
the split pin, so that there is no chance of it falling off. You are now ready for the boat's maiden run.
Take your time to become accustomed to the model's handling characteristics. Check the boat's response to
the rudder, how long it takes to slow down when braked, and the effective range of the radio system.
Please bear in mind that this boat cannot run in reverse.
If the boat starts to 'jump' at high speed, adjust the angle of the drive system as described under Point 8 until
the model runs smoothly again.
All of us at Graupner hope you have many hours of pleasure running your 'Wave Explorer'.
