Software Upgrade

When you enter to "Software Upgrade" menu,
you will see a screen like beside:
1. Press [CH ] to select the wanted item
among Software Upgrade and
Upgrade by Satellite.
2. Press [OK] to enter the selected item.
6.5. 1 Software Upgrade
1. This function allows you to upgrade the
software of the receiver. This can be done
from PC to receiver or from a master re-
ceiver to a slave receiver.
2. Connect master receiver or PC to the
slave receiver
(0-Modem cable). Enter the "Software
Upgrade" menu of the master receiver
and press [Vol
mode. Upgrade modes include: All code/
Main code/CAS-data/Script GUI/Radio
Back/default DB/Userdb.
3. Switch on the slave receiver.
4. Mark "Start" on the master reeciver and press [OK] to start upgrade.
Wait until the display on the front panel shows "-END". Then switch off the receiver and
on again. Now the new software is used.
5. Press [MENU] to save the setting without upgrade.
