Before the first use (all appliances)
1. When you run the appliance for the first time, set the thermostat to the
highest setting first, until the appliance has reached the temperature you
desire.
2. Now choose a medium setting.
3. It is easier to set the precise inside temperature at a later point of time.
 Clean the appliance thoroughly. Be very careful especially inside the
appliance.
 If the accessories inside the appliance are not fitted in their correct position,
replace them according to the image in chapter 7.
 The appliance must be correctly connected to the mains.
 Do not use an extension cord.
 Do not touch the cooled surfaces while the appliance is running. Your skin
can stick to these surfaces.
 If any of your beverages has a strange smell or colour, discard them. Such
beverages usually are spoiled and dangerous to consume.
 Draw the plug out of the socket before you clean or maintain the appliance.
Repairs must be performed by a qualified professional.
 Do not use any electric appliances to defrost your appliance. Do not remove
encrusted ice by using sharp-edged items.

9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the appliance from the mains before you clean or maintain it.
