Unit description
This appliance is designed for domestic use. It can be used safely
by untrained persons. The appliance can also be used in a non-
domestic environment, e.g. in a small business, as long as it is
used in the same way.
The hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heater DHF ...
C compact control heats the water as it is flowing through the
unit. As soon as a hot water tap is turned on, the heating out-
put is switched on automatically after the switch-on quantity is
exceeded. The temperature of the hot water is dependent on the
flow rate and temperature of the incoming cold water.

Hot water output
According to the time of year, the following maximum mixed water
quantities or outlet quantities are delivered, in the case of various
cold water temperatures (see Table 1):

Only half the heating output is switched on:
— suitable e.g. for hand washing.

With a low flow rate half the heating output is switched on, at a
higher flow rate the full heating output is automatically switched
on:
— suitable e.g. for bathing, showering or washing up.
low tap quantity = high outlet temperature.
High tap quantity = low outlet temperature.

If with the tap fully opened the required outlet temperature is not
reached, more water is flowing through the unit than the heating
element can heat (output limit 12, 13, 15, 18, 21 or 24 kW). In this
case the water quantity at the hot water tap must be reduced
accordingly.

Only qualified contractors should install and commission this
appliance.
The contractor is responsible for adherence to all currently
applicable regulations during installation and commissioning.
Operate this appliance only if it is fully installed and all safety
equipment is fitted.
Risk of scalding!
There is a risk of scalding at outlet temperatures in
excess of 43 °C.

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack of experience provided that they
are supervised or they have been instructed on how
to use the appliance safely and have understood the
resulting risks. Children must never play with the
