14 Button SAVE
• Short actuation: To temporarily store hot cue
points and hot loops with the bank buttons 1
to 4 (LED lights blue).
• Long actuation: To permanently store hot cue
points and hot loops into the internal memory
of the player (LED flashes repeatedly and the
display indicates "Saving").
15 Button CLEAR
To delete hot cue points and hot loops stored
on the bank buttons (LED lights blue).
16 Button [►II]
Switches between play and pause. During
playback the yellow LED lights, in pause
mode it flashes.
17 Button CUE
• When pressing the button in pause mode and
during playback the unit stops and returns to
the cue point and is in pause mode (LED
lights red).
• When keeping the button pressed in pause
mode, the title is momentarily played. As
soon as you release the button the unit
instantly returns to the cue point.
• Every time a new cue point is set, the LED
flashes repeatedly.
18 Button CUE PLAY
For return and immediate start of the
playback from the cue point and for
momentarily playing the title in pause mode
Shortly press the button several times to
create stutter effects.
19 Buttons SEARCH [ ] and [ ]
• [ ]: fast forward
• [ ]: fast reverse
20 Button NEXT TRACK
For preselection of the next title to be played.
21 Button ENTER
• To enter and exit the system settings.
• To confirm and start the title preselected with
the button NEXT TRACK.
22 Button REV
To switch reverse play on and off. With the
function activated, the button lights red.
Reverse play is available for standard
playback as well as for sample and loop
playback.
23 Press control TRACK [
• Turn the control to browse the titles. Title
number and title name (MP3 files only) are
indicated in the display.
• If you keep the control pressed while turning
it at the same time, you can jump 10 titles
forward or backward.
• Short repeated actuation of the control allows
indicating the individual ID3 tag information of
the title: Title, Artist, Album, Genre, File

Name. The bit rate will always be displayed
additionally.
• For browsing the items in the sub menu of
the system settings.
• Turn the control to browse the folders of a
data carrier. The folder number and name
are indicated in the display.
• If you keep the control pressed while turning
it at the same time, you can jump 10 folders
forward or backward.
• For browsing the items in the main menu of
the system settings.
The jogdial is touch-sensitive and can be
used for a number of functions. The button
JOG MODE selects the operating mode.
• SCRATCH: To create scratch effects with the
surface similar to a turntable. The outer part
can be used for the function Pitch Bend.
• PITCH BEND: In play mode for the function
Pitch Bend and in pause mode for precisely
selecting a certain spot.
• AUTO CUE SCRATCH: For return and
immediate start of the playback from the cue
point and for momentarily playing the title in
pause mode.
• For precise selection of the start and end
points of a seamless loop.
• For adjusting the X and Y parameters for
effects and samples.
• For adjusting settings in the system settings.
The light mode can be adjusted in the system
settings.
Sets the starting point of a loop (LED lights
red) and defines a cue point without
interrupting the music ("on the fly").
Sets the end point of a continuous loop which
is instantly started (LEDs IN and OUT will be
flashing). The loop will continue to play until
the button OUT is pressed once again.
Starts the loop once again (LEDs IN and
OUT will be flashing). Press the button OUT
to exit the loop.
Switches the hold function on and off. With
the function activated (LED lights), parameter
adjustments for effects and samples will be
saved. Otherwise the settings will only be
active temporarily.
