9. Now TUNER, USB, CARD or CD flash on the display; press
control to cycle through the modes. Press TIMER on the remote control to confirm your setting.

14. When selecting the sound source for the ON timer for instance as TUNER, please ensure that your
favourite station is tuned in. If you selected USB, CARD or CD a disc must be inserted or USB device
or memory card must be connected.
Snooze
Press SNOOZE (only on the remote control) when the ON timer sounds and you would like to snooze
for some more minutes. Your wake-up alarm will be delayed for another 10 minutes. You can repeat the
snooze function for up to 6 times (1 hour), afterwards the snooze function ist automatically deactivated.

Sleep Timer

Set the sleep timer to automatically turn off the unit in radio or CD/USB/SD modes after a preset time in
10-minute steps up to 90 minutes.
1. Press SLEEP (only on the remote control) to access the sleep timer until the display shows SLEEP 90.
2. Set the desired time in minutes by repeatedly pressing SLEEP on the remote control to 90, 80, 70, 60,
50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes and OFF.
3. The sleep timer is now activated. The display shows SLEEP and after the set time the system
automatically turns to standby mode.
4. The sleep timer is automatically deactivated when turning the system off and has to be set each time
anew.
Radio
1. Press ON/STANDBY button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit on.
2. Press TUNER/BAND on the unit or on the remote control once, the display shows TUNER. After a
short moment the previous band and frequency are displayed (e.g. FM 105.00MHz or AM 522kHz).
3. Press TUNER/BAND on the unit or on the remote control to select the frequency band: FM or AM.
4. Press NEXT/TUNE+ or
to tune into your favourite station. Short press for manual scan one IF up or down. One step in FM
equals 0.05MHz and 9kHz in AM. Press and hold to activate auto scan. When tuning into the next
station, scanning stops and the radio station is played. The frequency is displayed next to the
frequency band.
5. When selecting FM and tuning into a stereo station, ((ST)) is displayed. Press id3/FM MODE/ESP
on the remote control or ESP/id3/FM MODE on the unit to toggle between MONO and STEREO.
When reception is noisy, please select mono for better quality.
6. Press VOL UP or VOL DOWN

7. The system comes with auto station memory; press PROGRAM/REPEAT on the unit or
PROG/REPEAT on the remote control to access the function. The display now shows in addition to
the frequency band (FM or AM)
Altogether 40 station memories are available, 30 for FM and another 10 for AM. Press
MEM/FOLDER - or MEM/FOLDER + on the remote control to select the station memory and press
PROGRAM/REPEAT on the remote control to confirm.
8. To access the preset station memories in the corresponding frequency band first press
MEM/FOLDER - or MEM/FOLDER + (only on the remote control) until the desired station is
displayed.
9. To delete the station memory simply overwrite it with a new station.
