Repeatedly press EQ on the unit or on the remote control to toggle between the equalizer presets, the
display shows the corresponding setting. Select between EQ-OFF, CLASSIC, ROCK, POP, JAZZ and BASS
(EQ-OFF deactivates the equalizer).
Anti Shock Function (ESP)
The unit comes with anti shock function to avoid skipping of MP3 CDs for up to 20 seconds and Audio
CDs for up to 8 seconds caused by vibrations.
The anti shock memory is filled up for approximately 20 seconds. The protection already works
previously, but not to its full 20-second capacity.
As soon as the anti shock memory is full, 20 seconds vibration protection is afforded.
Please note that the anti shock function will only protect from mild vibrations. Heavy impact will still
cause skipping of the disc.
ID-3 Tags
The system can display additional information for music files, including song title, artist and album, which
are scrolled on the display. Please ensure while naming your files only to use British letters and numbers
from 0 to 9. The system cannot read or display special charcters and this may lead to malfunctions.
Set Current Time
The current time is displayed in standby mode (without backlight) or when pressing any button on the
unit or on the remote control (except
seconds.
During operation (blue backlight is on) the time is usually not displayed. Press and hold
PROGRAM/REPEAT on the unit or PROG/REPEAT on the remote control for 2 seconds to display the
current time for approx. 5 seconds.
Please follow these steps for setting the current time:
1. Set the unit to standby mode (display off).
2. Press and hold REPEAT/PROGRAM on the unit;
for 12-hour or 24-hour format.
3. Press
NEXT/TUNE+ or
and confirm with REPEAT/PROGRAM on the unit.
4. Now the display shows 00:00 and the hours flash. Press
unit to set the hours and confirm with REPEAT/PROGRAM on the unit.
5. Now the minutes flash on the display. Press
minutes and confirm with REPEAT/PROGRAM on the unit. The current time is now set.
Note: The time display during standby mode has no backlight.
Set Timers
Set the timers after setting the current time in standby mode. First the ON timer (
