Replacing the Battery

The battery is already inserted ex factory. Just pull out the insulation strip; the remote control is ready
to operate.
Exchange the battery with a button cell CR2025.
The battery must be replaced when the range of the remote control is reduced or if the keys do not
respond.
Observe the polarity when exchanging the battery.
1. Remove the battery holder by pulling the stopper out of the remote
control.
2. Insert the battery with + up (in the direction of + marking).
3. Close the battery compartment again.
Press ON/STANDBY to check the remote control. The system should
turn on.
Remote Control Use Instructions
• Point the remote control towards the player; the range is approx. 5 m with a 60º angle.
• The lifespan of the battery is approx. 1 year.
• Remove the battery during storage or when not using the unit for a longer time.
• Do not direct the remote sensor toward any light source, such as direct sunlight or a strong
fluorescent light, as it may cause the unit to not operate correctly.
• When other remote controls are used, interference may occur.
• Placing an object on the remote control may cause it to inadvertently depress a button, changing a
function and shortening battery life.
• Do not glaze the front of the IR receiver with colored glass, as it may cause interference with normal
operation.
• Do not spill water on the remote control or sit on it.
• Do not disassemble the remote control.
Safety Precautions for Lithium Batteries
• For best contact clean the battery with a dry cloth.
• To avoid short circuiting do not use metal tweezers to insert or remove batteries.
System Setup
Stands
The system comes with 3 stands for the player and the speakers. For desktop use attach
the stand to the unit and the speakers:
1. Attach the stand to the rear of the player and the
speakers.
2. Slide the stand upward, as shown in the
drawing.
