"O-Ld" appears when exceeding the measuring capacity. In such a case, remove the
item from the scale immediately in order to avoid damage to the scale.
Selecting measuring unit
• The hanging scale supports weighing in kilogram (kg) and British pound (lb).
• When the scale is turned on, press the UNIT button (3). Each time pressing the button will
select another measuring unit. The selected unit appears with a triangle on the right edge of
the display. The unit selected last will be saved after turning off the scale.
Weighing
• Turn on the scale and wait for "0.0" to be displayed.
• Carefully attach the item to be weighed to the S hook (9) without too much jerking. Avoid
swinging movements and, if necessary, bring the item to a complete halt.
• Wait for approx. 5 seconds until the reading has stabilized. The measuring result will be
displayed.
• The measuring result can be frozen for easy reading by pressing the HOLD button (2).
When the HOLD function is activated, "H" appears in the display. Remove the item from the
hook immediately after measuring. The reading is kept for approx. 10 seconds or until you
press the HOLD button again or turn off the scale.

Weighing with weighing container (tare function)
• Weighing containers can be used for weighing liquids or bulk material. In order to exclude
the weight of such weighing containers during measuring, use the tare function. Weighing
container and item to be weighed must not exceed the total weight of 100 kg.
• Turn on the scale and wait for "0.0" to be displayed.
• Attach the empty weighing container to the hook (9) and wait for the reading to stabilize.
• Briefly press the TARE button (4). The display will be reset to zero, thereby excluding the
weight of the weighing container from the subsequent measuring.
• Remove the weighing container and fill it with the items to be weighed.
• Attach the filled weighing container to the hook (9). Dynamic measuring by adding more
quantity is not permitted, as this would cause measuring errors.
• Wait for approx. 5 seconds for the reading to stabilize. The measuring result will be
displayed.
• The measuring result can be frozen for easy reading by pressing the HOLD button. When
the HOLD function is activated, "H" appears in the display. Remove the item from the hook
immediately after measuring. The reading is kept for approx. 10 seconds or until you press
the HOLD button again or turn off the scale.
• Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approx. 3 seconds to turn off the scale.
Automatic power-off
The hanging scale will turn off automatically after approx. 2 minutes in order to save energy
and extend battery use. Press the ON/OFF button (4) to turn the scale on again.
