2. Press UNIT to toggle through units of measurement. You can adjust the unit of measurement at any
time.
3. Place the object to be weighed onto the weighing platform.

object(s) from the weighing platform.
4. Press ON/OFF to turn the power OFF.
à
The power will automatically switch off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

9.2 Tare function

The tare function factors in the weight of the container so the scale only shows the net weight of the
object being weighed.
The maximum weighing capacity includes the weighing container. It is recommended to use a weigh-
ing container that is as light as possible.
1. Press ON/OFF to turn the power ON.
2. Place an empty measuring container (bowl, basket, etc.) onto the weighing platform. Wait until the dis-
play stabilizes.
3. Press TARE. The display will show the value "0.0".
4. Place the object to be weighed into the measuring container.
à
The weight shown will be the net weight of the object you are weighing.
à
To continue weighing without the measuring container, remove the container from the weighing
surface and press TARE.
5. Press ON/OFF to turn the power OFF.
9.3 Counting
This function determines the quantity of equal weight objects in batches.
1. Press ON/OFF to turn the power on.
2. Place (25, 50, 75 or 100) objects on the weighing platform.
à
The sum of all weights should be ≥300 g.
3. Press and hold COUNT until "pcs" appears on the display.
4. Press UNIT repeatedly to set a reference unit number (25, 50, 75 or 100).
5. Press COUNT. The display will show the number of units.
6. Add or remove objects from the weighing platform.
7. Press UNIT to return to normal weighing mode.
9.4 Calibration
The scale was calibrated at the factory. If accuracy fails, first try replacing the batteries.
Preconditions:
a
A standard test weight of 10 kg, 20 kg, or 50 kg is required for calibration.
a
The weighing platform must be empty.
1. Press ON/OFF to turn the power on.
2. Press and hold UNIT until the display shows capacity "200 kg" followed by the calibrated weight.
3. Press TARE to select a test weight of 10 kg, 20 kg, or 50 kg.
4. Press UNIT to select the weight. The display will show "CAL" and the calibrated weight will flash.
5. Place the selected test weight on the weighing platform.
à
Calibration is completed when "PASS" appears on the display. This may take a few moments.
à
If a calibration error has occurred, "Err" will show on the display. Switch the power ON/OFF and
then repeat the process.
6. Remove the weight.
7. Press ON/OFF to turn the power OFF.

10 Cleaning and care

Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They damage
the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
1. Disconnect the product from the power supply.
2. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
11 Disposal
11.1 Product
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU mar-
ket. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal
waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it separ-
ately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not en-
closed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-de-
structive manner, must be removed by end users from the WEEE in a non-destructive man-
ner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back of waste.
Conrad provides the following return options free of charge (more details on our website):
in our Conrad offices
at the Conrad collection points
at the collection points of public waste management authorities or the collection points set up by man-
ufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the ElektroG
End users are responsible for deleting personal data from the WEEE to be disposed of.
It should be noted that different obligations about the return or recycling of WEEE may apply in countries
outside of Germany.
11.2 (Rechargeable) batteries
Remove batteries/rechargeable batteries, if any, and dispose of them separately from the product. Ac-
cording to the Battery Directive, end users are legally obliged to return all spent batteries/rechargeable
batteries; they must not be disposed of in the normal household waste.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with this sym-
bol to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy
metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or
wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to en-
vironmental protection.
4
Batteries/rechargeable batteries that are disposed of should be protected against short circuit and their
exposed terminals should be covered completely with insulating tape before disposal. Even empty batter-
ies/rechargeable batteries can contain residual energy that may cause them to swell, burst, catch fire or
explode in the event of a short circuit.
