The four modes are as follows:

After the desired measurement mode is selected, don't

instrument exits the "Setting mode" automatically and you

6. Performing Measurement
1.) For a temperature measurements, the display shows the
present environment temperature directly.
2.) To perform moisture measurements, drive the probes into
the wood or material to be measured. The display shows
the reading, meanwhile the LED's will also give indication.
For wood moisture measurement mode (
If the reading is < 6%, all LED's without indication
If the reading is > 6% and is < 16%, the green LED will
flash
If the reading is > 16% and is < 20%, the yellow LED will
flash
If the reading is > 20%, the red LED will flash
