• Shake the iron in a horizontal position over a sink or basin. Leave the tank to empty.
The water-steam mixture will remove a part of the residual limescale on the sole-
plate.
• Then insert the knob (4) into its lodging and position it on the dry function.
• Plug into the outlet and remove all residual water in the soleplate by iron over an
old cloth.
IMPORTANT:
• be careful not to touch the water coming out of the soleplate as it is boiling and you
could scorch yourself.
NOTE:
• pass the iron over a dry cotton cloth when it is cold before using it again for ironing.

AFTER USE

• Unplug from the outlet.
• Empty the tank (11).
• Always turn the steam control knob (4) to
• Leave the iron to cool down completely.
• Stand the iron on its end again.
