OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Make sure the steam control knob (4) is set to
• Stand the iron on its end, unwind the cord (7) completely and plug into outlet.
• Use the temperature control knob (10) to set to desired temperature for the fabric
to be ironed (see table B).
• The temperature control lamp (8) switches on; it will switch off automatically to show
that the iron is ready to be used when the soleplate has reached the set tempera-
ture.
IMPORTANT:
• never leave the iron unattended when it is plugged into the power supply out-
let.
ADVICE:
• iron the more delicate fabrics needing lower temperatures first then the more resi-
stant ones requiring higher temperatures;
• iron over a hidden part of the object you are going to iron before you start to make
sure that the selected temperature is right for the type of fabric.
FILLING THE TANK
• Always unplug from the outlet before starting this operation.
• Make sure the steam control knob (4) is set to

ked on the tank.
ADVICE:
If water if your area is particularly calcareous it is advisable to use distilled water.

STEAM IRONING

• Fill the tank (11) with water.
• Select the desired jet of steam using the steam control knob (4).
• Regulate the temperature control knob (10) in the steam area
NOTE:
steam will automatically stop being delivered when you stand the iron on its end
during pauses in between ironing.
ADVICE:
Some drops of water could come out together with the steam when using it for the
first time. This is quite normal. Test on an old cloth before starting to iron your linen.
