Locking (special accessory)
9.1 Mechanical locking with limit switch
for TH100 and V80:
Weld flashing (1) into guide rail. Weld limit
switch unit (2) to guide rail and shorten
rods (3) accordingly (fig. 4.0). Adjust the
GB
roller lever (4) of the limit switch during
installation so that it switches at the
settings "open" and "closed".
Weld flashing (5) into guide rail. Weld limit
switch unit (6) to guide rail and shorten
rods (7) accordingly (gap in open state
7 mm).

Installation of cover box
(roller shutter installation must be
complete)
10.1 Measure box parts and transfer
dimensions from the drawing for the instal
lation of the side parts on the building.
10.2 Use dowels to attach side parts (1a
and 1b) to the lintel. At box with sheet steel
joint, install intermediate bracket (2)
aligned to the side parts at the joint.
10.3 If necessary, use sealing tape on the
support edges of the side parts to mask the
intermediate bracket.
10.4 Clamp together cover sheet front part
(3) with side parts (intermediate bracket),
drill holes and use selftapping screws to
screw the parts together.
10.5 Use dowels to attach the cover sheet
top (4) to the lintel and drill through it, the
side parts and the cover sheet front and
screw the parts together. Make sure that
the sheets do not sag.

Electrical connection
The electrical connection must only be
performed by a qualified electrician!
Connections and settings as follows
(it is vitally important that the specific
instructions issued by the drive manu-
facturer are observed!):
11.1 The builder must connect the CEE
form socket for righthand rotation (do
not connect up any other devices at the
moment!). Connect up the mains plug.
11.2 Check direction of rotation according
to the adjustment instructions of the drive
manufacturer. Possibly change the phases
at the terminal strip.
11.3 The drive can now be started up with
out any danger.
The limit switch settings must be complet-
ed according to the separate instructions
issued by the drive manufacturer.

Troubleshooting
12.1 The door cannot be operated after
switching off the limit switch.

Safety limit switch has triggered. Turn
the door back with the emergency
hand crank. Turn the safety limit
switch to disengage it, and check
direction of rotation.
12.2 Motor turns in the wrong direction.

Exchange two phases.
12.3 The setting of the door is mis-
adjusted.

End switch cam is loose. End switch
unit is defect.
12.4 The motor does not work.

Anti runoff device has triggered.

Control voltage interrupted because
emergency crank pushed in. Pull
crank out again.

Thermal protection has triggered.
Let motor cool down.

Check fuses.

Measure phase voltage.

Control power circuit interrupted.
Please keep these assembly, operating and maintenance instructions as long as you use the product!

Safety regulations
In accordance with the European
standard EN 12453 – Safety in use of
power- operated doors – the following
points are to be taken into consideration
during the installation of operators for
electrically operated roller doors:
13.1 Electrically operated systems must
have a main switch or plug and socket
connection, which when disconnected
breaks the connection with all poles.
The main switch must be safeguarded from
unauthorised or mistaken switching on.
Any electrical work must be carried out
according to IEC 60364 and the applicable
national regulations. Electrical work must
only be carried out by qualified electricians.
We recommend including the entire electri
cal circuit of the door in the monitoring
range of residual current operated device
(circuit breakers).
13.2 The operating elements must be
operated by authorized and trained person
nel. They must be fitted in such a way that
the traffic approach zones can be visually
checked in both directions.
When the operator switch/push buttons
are released, the door movement must
come to a standstill immediately (dead
man's control).
To ensure that the dead man function is
properly working, observe the information
in the control description.
13.3 If for special reasons the traffic ap
proach zones cannot visually be monitored
from the control point, then devices are to
be provided to prevent injuries caused by
getting crushed in the door (e.g. contact
strips).
If dead man controls or safety devices
are used, then no additional circuits must
be connected which have an opening or
closing function (e.g. remote control or
time control).
13.4 If there is errorcontrolled personal
protective equipment, a pulse control can
be fitted instead of the dead man control
required under point 13.2.
With doors of less than 2,500 mm in height
as well as link grille shutters there is a
risk of persons becoming caught up in the
system. By using suitable safety measures,
e.g. light barriers, here again it is possible
for pulse control to assume the opening
and closing movements.
13.5 On conclusion of the electrical work,
all functions are to be checked, particular-
ly the safety devices.
In addition, after initial commissioning of
the door system the safety devices are to
be checked regularly.
Operating safety must be checked at least
once every twelve months for wear and
safety of the whole system, to be carried
out by a qualified expert).
