Notes:
The alarm function is only available during

mains operation, it is disabled during battery
use.
You can select directly the option »ALARM«

also with »MODE/AL« in standby mode.
Setting the alarm times

Press »ON/OFF« to switch on the device.
– Display: e.g. »B5 AKT«.
2 Open the menu with »MENU«.
3 Select the option »SYSTEM« with »TUNING«
and confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.

Select the option »ALARM« with »TUNING«
and confirm by pressing »SEL/ATS«.
– Display: »ALARM« flash.
5 Press »SEL/ATS«, select Timer On (»ON«) with
»TUNING« and confirm by pressing
ATS«.
– Display: e.g. »6 : 00 AM«.

Set the hours with »TUNING« and confirm by
pressing »SEL/ATS«.

Set the minutes with »TUNING« and confirm
by pressing »SEL/ATS«.
8 Select the desired alarm mode (signal sound/
buzzer, DAB radio station or FM radio sta-
tion) with »TUNING« and confirm by pressing
»SEL/ATS«.
Note:
If DAB/ or FM program has been selected

as the alarm signal, a program must be se-
lected with »TUNING« and confirmed with
»SEL/ATS«.
9 Select the desired alarm day (Daily, Once,
Weekends or Weekdays) with »TUNING«.
Notes:
If the alarm is set to "Once" continue with

step 10.
Otherwise, end settings with step 13.

10 Set the day with »TUNING« and confirm by
pressing »SEL/ATS«.

Press »SEL/ATS« to end the setting.

Interrupting the alarm
1 Press »SNOOZE« while the alarm is sounding.
– Display: »e« or »
– The alarm (signal tone or radio) stops.
– The alarm goes on again in 5-minute inter-
vals (the total alarm time is 90 minutes).
Cancelling alarm stand-by
1
Press »ON/OFF« while the alarm is sounding.
– Display: the current time and »e« or »
– The alarm (signal tone or radio) stops, but
the alarm function remains activated for the
next day at the same time.
Activating and deactivating the
alarm
1
Press »ON/OFF« to switch off the device.

Press »MODE/AL« to deactivate the alarm
stand-by.
– Display: »OFF« and »e« or »

– The set alarm time is saved
