5.2 Befüllen des Fluidtanks
1 Stecktülle aus der Schnellkupplung durch Betätigen des Metall-
druckknopfes lösen.
2 Tankdeckel aufschrauben und entfernen.
3 Fluid nachfüllen.

Tankdeckel wieder aufsetzen und zuschrauben.

Stecktülle wieder fest in die Schnellkupplung stecken - bis zu
einem deutlich hörbaren Klick.

5.3 Fluid

Die Scotty II darf ausschließlich mit SMOKE FACTORY Scotty II

Fog betrieben werden. Die Verwendung eines Fremdnebelfluides
oder von Zusätzen führt zum Verstopfen des Heizelements und
Verlust des Garantieanspruchs.
Kein Nebelfluid verwenden, das älter als fünf Jahre ist. Nebel-
!
fluids sind nicht unbegrenzt haltbar.

Keine Reinigungsfluide oder Zitronensäure etc. verwenden.

Fachhändler oder direkt bei uns.
6. Arbeiten mit dem Scotty II
Im Folgenden wird Betrieb und Steuerung der Scotty II erläutert.
6.1 Betrieb über Analogeingang
Die Scotty II über die 3-pol. XLR-Buchse [13] mit einem analogen Pult
oder mit der optional erhältlichen Kabelfernbedienung verbinden.
1 Verbindungskabel des Pults/Kabelfernbedienung in die XLR-Buchse
[13] des Gerätes einstecken.
2 Über den Drehknopf der Kabelfernbedienung/Fader am analogen
Pult den Pumpenwert regulieren.

Mit On-/Off-Schalter der Kabelfernbedienung den Nebelvorgang
starten.
5.2 Filling the fluid tank
1 Remove the plug-in connector from the quick coupling by pushing
the metal knob.
2 Unscrew and remove tank cap.

Refill fluid.

Refit the tank cap and screw it on.

Insert plug-in connector back into the quick coupling - until you
hear a clearly audible click.
5.3 Fluid
The Scotty II has to be operated only with SMOKE FACTORY
!
Scotty II Fog. Using fluids or additives from foreign vendors will
result in clogging of the heating unit and will void the warranty
of the Tour Hazer II.
Do not use fog fluid which is more than five years old. Fog
!
fluids do not have an unlimited storage life.
!
Do not use cleaning fluid or citric acid etc.

6. Working with Scotty II
Operation and control of the Scotty II is explained below.

6.1 Operation via analog input

Use the 3 pin XLR socket [13] to connect the Scotty II to an analog
console or to the optional cable remote control.
1 Connect the cable of the analog console/cable remote control to
the XLR socket [13] of the device.
2 Use the rotary knob of the cable remote control/fader on the
analog console to adjust the pump value.

Start the fog process with the on/off switch of the cable remote
control.
