9 Pflege und Wartung

Das Gerät darf nicht überhitzen, die Betriebs-, Umgebungstempera-

tur ist unbedingt einzuhalten. Scheinwerfer nicht genau auf das
Gerät strahlen lassen.
Die Scotty II darf nicht ohne Fluid betrieben werden, da sonst die

Pumpen trocken laufen.
Ausgetretenes Fluid muss sofort feucht aufgewischt werden, denn

Feuchtigkeit – auch Fluid – zerstört die Elektronik.
Die Scotty II sollte nach jeder Nutzung, insbesondere bei Nutzung im

eingebauten Zustand, gereinigt werden.
Der Fluidtank sollte vor jedem Befüllen reichlich und gründlich aus-

gespült werden. Dies vermeidet vorzeitiges Verflocken des Fluids
durch Verunreinigungen.
Bei der Positionierung der Scotty II ist auf stetig nebelfreie Luftzufuhr

zu achten. Kühlluft mit zu hoher Nebelkonzentration kann in der
Maschine kondensieren und zu Feuchtigkeitsschäden führen.

ACHTUNG!
Kondensattröpfchen dürfen nur bei abgekühltem Gerät entfernt
werden. Ansonsten besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!

BITTE BEACHTEN!
Der Verdampfer muss NICHT gereinigt werden! Frei käufliche Reini-
gungsflüssigkeiten (Cleaner) können dem Verdampfer schaden! Die
Garantie des Geräts erlischt durch den Einsatz von Cleanern.

BITTE BEACHTEN!
Bei Nichtnutzung der Scotty II den Akkupack alle 2 Monate aufladen!

10 Fehlerbehebung

Die Scotty II nebelt nicht
Ladung des Akku-Packs überprüfen (gelbe LED (Ladekontrollanzeige)

leuchtet dauernd, die Pumpe ist automatisch außer Betrieb)
Fluidmenge überprüfen

Verdampfer auf Beschädigung oder Verunreinigung überprüfen

Die gelbe LED leuchtet permanent
Der Akku ist entladen

Der Verdampfer ist beschädigt oder verstopft


9 Maintenance and Service

The device must not overheat. The operating and environmental

temperature must be observed. Headlights must not shine directly
onto the machine.
The Scotty II must not be operated without fluid, otherwise the pumps

run dry.
Spilt fluid should be immediately mopped up wet, because humidity

- also fluid - can destroy the electronics.
The Scotty II should be cleaned after each use, especially when used

in the built-in condition.
The fluid tank should be rinsed generously and thoroughly before

the next filling. This avoids premature flaking of the fluid through
impurities.
When positioning the Scotty II make sure that a fog-free air supply is

ensured. Cooling air with too high fog concentration can condense
inside the machine and cause humidity damage

Remove condensation droplets only when device is cooled down.

PLEASE NOTE!
The vaporizer does NOT have to be cleaned! Free purchasable
cleaning fluids (cleaner) can damage the vaporizer! The warranty of
the Tour Hazer II will be void if any cleaners are used.

PLEASE NOTE!
If the Scotty II is not in use, recharge the battery pack every 2 months!
10 Troubleshooting
The Scotty II produces no fog
Check the charge of the battery pack (yellow LED (charge control

indicator) permanently lights, the pump is automatically switched off)
Check fluid quantity

Check the evaporator for damage or contamination

The yellow LED permanently lights
The battery pack is discharged

The evaporator is damaged or contaminated

