6.2 Betrieb über Funkfernbedienung
Die Scotty II kann mit der optional erhältlichen Funkfernbedienung
gesteuert werden.
1 Funkempfänger der Funkfernbedienung in die XLR-Buchse [13]
des Gerätes einstecken.
2 Bei Drücken des obersten Tasters der Funkfernbedienung nebelt
das Gerät (s. auch Bedienungsanleitung Funkfernbedienung).
3 Über den Drehregler [10] des Gerätes die gewünschte Nebel-
stärke einstellen.
6.3 Betrieb über DMX 512
Den optional erhältlichen DMX-Konverter (DMXit) an d
Buchse [13] des Gerätes anschließen. Den DMX-Konverter mit einem
DMX-Pult verbinden, das die Scotty II nun steuern kann.
6.4 Betrieb über Timer
Den optional erhältlichen Timer (TIMEit) an d
des Gerätes anschließen. Im Timer können Nebel- und Pausenzeiten
sowie die Nebelstärke programmiert werden.

7. Akkupack

Die Scotty II ist mit einem wartungsfreien 12 V Bleigel-Akkupack
ausgestattet, der optimal auf den Betrieb des Gerätes ausgelegt ist.
Der Akkupack wird über einen Speakonstecker [12] mit dem Gerät
verbunden.
7.1 Kapazität
Die Kapazität des Akkupacks beträgt 12 Ah
Akkupack voll geladen. Bei richtiger Pflege und Lagerung (s. auch 7.5)
behält der Akkupack seine Kapazität über mehrere Jahre und kann
einige hundert Lade-/Entladezyklen bewältigen.
Eine Akkuladung ist ausreichend für 100 Nebelstöße von 4-5
Sekunden oder einer Dauernebelzeit von 10 Minuten.

6.2 Operation via radio remote control
The Scotty II can be controlled with the optional radio remote control.
1 Connect the radio receiver of the radio remote control to the XLR
socket [13] of the device.
2 When pressing the topmost button of the radio remote control, the
unit fogs (refer to the manual of the remote control too).

Adjust the desired fog intensity using the rotary knob [10] of the
device.
6.3 Operation via DMX 512
Connect the optional DMX converter (DMXit) to the 3 pin the XLR
socket [13] of the device. Connect the DMX converter to a DMX
console that can now control the Scotty II.
6.4 Operation via timer
Connect the optional timer (TIMEit) to the 3 pin XLR socket [13] of the
device. The timer can be used to program fog and pause times as well
as the fog intensity.

7. Battery pack

The Scotty II is equipped with a maintenance-free 12 V lead-acid
battery pack, which is optimally designed for the operation of the
device. The battery pack is connected to the device via a Speakon
connector [12].
7.1 Capacity
The capacity of the rechargeable battery is 12 Ah. On delivery, the
battery pack is fully charged. With proper maintenance and storage
(see also 7.5), the rechargeable battery retains its capacity for several
years and can handle several hundred charging/discharging cycles.
One battery charge is sufficient for 100 fog bursts of 4-5 seconds or a
continous fog time of 10 minutes.
