1 Allgemeines

Die Scotty II ist eine kompakte mobile Nebelmaschine. Die mikropro-
zessorgesteuerte Nebelmaschine wird mit einem wartungsfreien 12 V
Bleigelakku betrieben. Das Gerät arbeitet nach dem Verdampferprin-
zip, d. h. ein Fluid auf Glycolbasis wird verdampft und kondensiert
beim Austritt aus der Nebeldüse zu Nebel. Die Scotty II arbeitet
energiesparend und heizt nur dann, wenn auch tatsächlich genebelt
werden soll.
Im Sleepmodus fließt durch die Elektronik der Scotty II lediglich ein
Ruhestrom von 1,5 mA Strom. Im Ruhezustand wird der Akku somit
nicht nennenswert entladen. Bei vollgeladenem Akku hat die Scotty II
dadurch eine Standby-Zeit von ca. 250 Stunden.
Der Nebelvorgang läuft nach folgendem Zeitschema läuft ab:
1.) Aufheizen (1 Sekunde, ohne Fluid zu pumpen)
2.) Pumpe läuft, Nebel wird ausgestoßen
3.) Nachlaufzeit (15 Sekunden, das restliche Fluid wird verdampft)
ACHTUNG!

Die Scotty II darf niemals mit eingestecktem/angeschlos-
senem Akku gelagert oder transportiert werden. Es
besteht die Gefahr der dauerhaften unreparablen
Schädigung des Akkus durch Tiefentladung.

The Scotty II is a compact mobile fog machine. The microprocessor-
controlled fog machine is operated with a maintenance-free 12 V
lead-acid battery. The device operates according to the vaporizing
principle, which means that a glycol-based fluid is evaporated and
condenses to fog when leaving the fog nozzle. The Scotty II works
energy-efficient and heats only during the fog process.
No more than a current of 1.5 mA is flowing through the electronics of
the Scotty II in sleep mode. The battery is not significantly discharged
in sleep mode. When the battery pack is fully charged, the Scotty II has
a standby time of about 250 hours.
The fog process runs according to the following schedule:
1.) Heating (1 seconde, without pumping fluid)
2.) Pump running, fog is pushed out
3.) Post-run time (15 seconds, residual fluid is evaporated)
ATTENTION!

The Scotty II must never be stored or transported with an
inserted/connected battery pack. There is the risk of
permanent irreparable damage to the battery by deep
discharge.
