Operating speed and accessories
•
In order to achieve best results while working on different materials, it is possible
to adjust the rpm in the combitool. Set through trying on a left over or waste
material the optimal rpm for your work. While the optimal rpm depends on both
the machine tool and on the material to work on, the best adjustment can be
shown through trying on left over and waste materials only. Generally, it applies
to:
1. Plastics should be processed with a lower rpm, given that the otherwise generated
frictional heat could destroy the material.
2. Hard materials (i.e. metal, glass etc.) usually needs higher rpm.
Assembling of cutoff and grinding wheels
•
Unscrew and remove the screw of the work arbor.
•
Place the cut-off or grinding wheel between both washer wheels on the screw
and turn the screw into the work arbor.
Assembling of the abrasive rings
•
Unscrew the screw on the upper part of the rubber roller.
•
Shift the abrasive ring over the rubber roll.
•
Retighten the screw on the upper part of the rubber roller. Thereby the rubber roll
will be pressed apart and hold tight the abrasive ring.
Assembling of the felt wheel
•
Use the clamping mandrel with a thread on the head.
•
Screw the felt wheel to the thread.
Cleaning
Attention: You pull the power plug before cleaning the combitool. Regularly clean the
cover of the machine with a soft cloth, preferably after each application. Keep the louvers
free from dust and dirt. Remove tough dirt with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents such as
petrol, alcohol, ammonia etc. This kind of substances damage plastic parts.
