Never place your hand close to the rotating insertion tools.
b)
The insertion tool can move across your hand in the event of a recoil.
Ensure your body does not enter the area in which the power tool will be
c)
moved in the event of a recoil.
The recoil drives the power tool in the opposite direction of the movement of the
grinding disk at the locking point.
Work particularly carefully in the areas of corners, sharp edges etc. Prevent
d)
the insertion tool from rebounding and getting stuck.
The rotating insertion tool tends to get stuck when working on corners, sharp
edges or when it rebounds off a surface. This causes a loss of control or a recoil.
Do not use chain blades or serrated saw blades.
e)
Such insertion tools frequently cause a recoil or a loss of control over the power tool.
Special safety directions for grinding and abrasive cutting
Only use the abrasive devices that are permitted for your power tools and the
a)
protective hood provided for this abrasive device.
Abrasive devices which are not intended for the power tool cannot be shielded
sufficiently and are unsafe.
The protective hood must be securely attached to the power tool and be
b)
set in such a way that the highest safety levels are achieved, i.e. the small
possible portion of the abrasive device is openly pointing towards the person
operating it.
The protective hood should protect the person operating the tool from fragments
and accidental contact with the abrasive device.
Abrasive devices may only be used for the recommended application options.
c)
For example: Never performing grinding work with the side of a cutting disk.
Cutting disks are intended for the removal of material with the edge of the disk.
The exertion of force upon this abrasive device from the side can break them.
Always use undamaged clamping flange with the right size and form for the
d)
grinding disk selected by you.
An appropriate flange supports the grinding disk and thus reduces the risk of the
grinding disk breaking. The flange for the cutting disks can differ from the flanges
for other grinding disks.
Do not use any wornout grinding wheels of larger power tools.
e)
Grinding wheels for larger power tools are not designed for the higher rotational
speeds of smaller power tools and can break.
