6.3 Toolkit Selection
After the network settings have been made, check that the desired VCI has been selected
in your network as well. The programme TKSelection offers selection of a VCI. This is
important when several VCIs are integrated in your network and one must be selected for
the diagnosis application on the test computer. If only one vehicle diagnosis interface can
be reached, it is selected automatically. The eCOM Boxes are selected via the configured
names (two-digit figure).
A leading checkmark in the TKSelection dialogue indicates the selected device. If no or the
wrong VCI is selected, click the entry that stops the target device and then the button
Select. The little red checkmark in a checkbox is displayed when the device is auto selec-
ted. The programme also provides additional information on device status.
