6. Software
If several eCOM Boxes are used in one network, they must be marked by different names
for selection. The name used must be a two-digit number. In the delivery condition, this is
number "00". Any change to this number must be made via the configuration dialogue in
the TKAdministration-Tool. The prerequisite for this is that the PC and eCOM Box work in
the same sub network. The following figure shows the area of the configuration dialogue
in which the name of the eCOM Box can be set.
Always observe that two or several eCOM Boxes with the same name can never be
reached from the PC. If this is the case, the user is given a warning message by the
toolkit.
All devices must have a unique name (not "00") assigned!
