2. Intended use
Complete supply of the eCOM Box (including the galvanically insulated line
drivers and electronics for voltage measurement) is only present when the eCOM
Box is supplied with battery voltage via the vehicle interface
Voltage supply to the eCOM Box via the 9-pin SUB-D socket is not possible. The
Vbat-pin at this socket (Pin9) is only connected to a current-limited voltage output
for possibly required supply of a connected CAN-tool.

3. Safety notes

Read the following safety notes carefully before commissioning.
Power supply - see technical data. Deviations from the indicated values may
damage the device.
Disconnect the device from the current supply when not in use.
Do not let any liquids contact the device (water, acid, solvents,...).
Do not use any diluents, spirits or benzene for cleaning the device. Use a soft cloth
and mild detergent.
Do not drop the device.

Do not operate the device in a moist/wet environment, close to flammable
materials or in potentially explosive areas.
