INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY
Examples of installation sites for the central vacuum
unit include: the basement, a storeroom, a utility room
or the garage. The installation location should ensure
as short a route as possible for the vacuum and vent
pipes.

Flammable/explosive gases and mixtures can result in
death, severe burns and property damage.
- Check to be sure that there are no flammable/ex-
plosive gases and liquids in the room.
- Never attempt to install the central vacuum unit in
areas at risk of explosion.
Warning! Mortal Danger!
Short circuits at the central vacuum unit resulting
from high humidity can result in death, mortal peril,
severe burns and property damage.
- Never install the central vacuum unit in rooms
subject to high moisture.
Installation Site Requirements
- The lowest room in the entire system.
- The year-round ambient room temperature should
remain between 5 °C and 25 °C
- The room should be well ventilated with an outside
vent opening of at least 150 cm
- Mains power connection.
- Adequate space to permit waste disposal and
maintenance work.
Please note the following items when installing the
central vacuum unit:
- The central vacuum unit installation site must be
equipped with a grounded wall outlet (230 V, 16 A,
Europe/10 A CH) which must be located within at
most 2.5 m of the central vacuum unit.
- The grounded outlet must be accessible at all
times.
- Do not install the central vacuum unit behind steel
doors (applies only to radio control operation).
- Do not install the central vacuum unit near radio
control units (applies only to radio control operati-
on).
