Teaching the Repeater at the Central Vacuum Unit
The central vacuum unit must be connected and
switched on in order to be able to teach the repeater
(refer to fitting instructions VACUCLEAN).
During the teaching process, the repeater must re-
main within the central vacuum unit's reception range;
preferably in the same room as the vacuum unit.
1. Hold the transmitter against the central vacuum unit
as shown in the illustration (refer to Fig. 12).
Fig. 12 Hold the transmitter against the central vacuum unit
2. Press the OFF button on the transmitter.
The term, „LERN" = „TEACH" in English appears on
the central vacuum unit's LCD display.
3. Within 30 seconds, plug the repeater into a wall
outlet within the central vacuum unit's reception
range.
4. Unplug the repeater from the wall outlet and insert it
into the previously selected wall outlet (location with
the optimal radio reception range, refer to „Installa-
tion Location". The repeater is now operational.
Help with Repeater Teaching Problems
If the radio system fails to operate as desired, the
information in all repeaters and transmitters should
be deleted.

Deleting the information on a single transmitter at the
central vacuum unit will cause the information on
taught transmitters and repeaters to be deleted.
Deleting Transmitters and Repeaters at the
Central Vacuum Unit
1. Hold the transmitter close to the central vacuum
unit as shown in illustration 12.
2. Press and hold down the OFF button for 5 seconds
without moving the transmitter away from the
central vacuum unit.
If the delete process was successful, the following
appear on the central vacuum unit's LCD display:
- „LERN" = „TEACH" in English for 2 seconds
- „CLR" for 3 seconds;
- „OK" for 2 seconds;
- Alternating „FFB" and „OPEN"
All previous transmitter information has now been de-
leted at the central vacuum unit and in the repeaters.
Deleting Transmitters from the Repeaters
1. Hold the transmitter close to the repeater housing as
illustrated in Fig. 12.
2. Press the transmitter OFF button and hold it down
until the yellow LED on the receiver unit goes on and
then off after approx. 5 seconds.
All previous transmitter information has now been
deleted from both the repeater
vacuum unit.
Repeating Transmitter and Repeater Teaching
Once all settings have been deleted, the following te-
aching steps must be carried out in the indicated order:
1. Teach the transmitter to the repeater (refer to Sec-
tion 4.1).
2. Teach the repeater to the central vacuum unit (refer
to Section 4.2).
3. Teach the transmitter to the central vacuum unit
(refer to Fitting instructions VACUCLEAN).
