e) Muting the Microphone
During a phone call (or a talk to a visitor on the outdoor unit), you can mute the microphone of the mobile
unit temporarily.
This permits, e.g. briefly talking to a third person without the caller (or visitor on the outdoor unit) listening
in.
Proceed as follows:
• To activate muting during a call, briefly push the right function button (9). The corresponding message
now appears in the display of the mobile unit.
• Push the right function button (9) briefly again to deactivate muting again.
f) Setting the Handset Volume
During a phone call (or while talking to the visitor at the outdoor unit), you can adjust the volume of the
handset (or the speaker of the hands free function, if it is activated) of the mobile unit in 5 levels (e.g. when
the caller is too loud or too low).
Proceed as follows:
• Increase the volume with the button „
• Reduce the volume with the button „
The display shows the respective volume level (V.1......V.5).
The basic setting of the volume of the speaker (7) of the handset or the volume for the speaker (15) of the
hands free function can be changed in the setup menu as well, if desired.
